Psalms 73 (MSG)
An Asaph psalm
1 "No doubt about it! God is good—
good to good people, good to the good-hearted.
2 But I nearly missed it,
missed seeing his goodness.
3 I was looking the other way,
looking up to the people
4 At the top,
envying the wicked who have it made,
5 Who have nothing to worry about,
not a care in the whole wide world.
6 Pretentious with arrogance,
they wear the latest fashions in violence,
7 Pampered and overfed,
decked out in silk bows of silliness.
8 They jeer, using words to kill;
they bully their way with words.
9 They're full of hot air,
loudmouths disturbing the peace.
10 People actually listen to them—can you believe it?
Like thirsty puppies, they lap up their words.
11 What's going on here? Is God out to lunch?
Nobody's tending the store.
12 The wicked get by with everything;
they have it made, piling up riches
13 I've been stupid to play by the rules;
what has it gotten me?
14 A long run of bad luck, that's what—
a slap in the face every time I walk out the door.
15 If I'd have given in and talked like this,
I would have betrayed your dear children.
16 Still, when I tried to figure it out,
all I got was a splitting headache . . .
17 Until I entered the sanctuary of God.
Then I saw the whole picture:
18 The slippery road you've put them on,
with a final crash in a ditch of delusions.
19 In the blink of an eye, disaster!
A blind curve in the dark, and—nightmare!
20 We wake up and rub our eyes. . . . Nothing.
There's nothing to them. And there never was.
21 When I was beleaguered and bitter,
totally consumed by envy,
22 I was totally ignorant, a dumb ox
in your very presence.
23 I'm still in your presence,
but you've taken my hand.
24 You wisely and tenderly lead me,
and then you bless me.
25 You're all I want in heaven!
You're all I want on earth!
26 When my skin sags and my bones get brittle,
God is rock-firm and faithful.
27 Look! Those who left you are falling apart!
Deserters, they'll never be heard from again.
28 But I'm in the very presence of God—
oh, how refreshing it is!
I've made Lord God my home.
God, I'm telling the world what you do!"

Just Want To Talk To Jesus Today
Psalms 35:1-28:
In the Message Bible Version, David is talking to The Lord God about the "bullies..." We have bullies today in our lives... The one who was anointed by God to rule instead of Saul, has bullies?... He's telling Jesus to grab anything at hand of His and punch them in the nose... saying, "God stand up for me!"
David is wanting the reassertion actions of God, to say, "I'll save you David."
I know many times in my walk with Jesus, that I have been my worst enemy... I know David here kept saying he has done nothing wrong... Which, I know that what he is being pursued for he didn't do anything, but he was anointed, and that was a giant bull's eye sign on his head... saying, here is God's Heart, His delight, and His mouth piece here on earth to execute vengeance on God's enemies, so fire away... By Praising Him and Exalting His Name among the whole earth, which is what David was doing at the time in front of Saul,... the chase was on to kill David. Saul saw how much the people loved David, and that The Hand of God was on him, which caused him to seek a way to justifiably in Saul's on mind, to remove the anointed one so he could continue to be king... (NOT)
How does this Word in David's life and walk apply to us? We can "pray," "frustrate all those who are plotting my downfall," Ps. 35:4; "make them like cinders in a high wind, with God's angel working the bellows," Ps. 35:5...
We can check on what God says about His enemy that He gave us authority over all their power! In Matthews 10:1; Jesus told His disciples who believed in Him, He gave them power to kick out the evil spirits, and gave us power to take care of bruised and hurt lives...
Matthews 20:25; here Jesus just settles them down, and says to them that "you observe how godless rulers throw their weight around, how quickly a little power goes to their heads..." See Saul was rendered powerless by Samuel's words saying; "The Lord has removed your authority and position in the kingdom...."
Mark 6:7; "Jesus called the Twelve to Him, and sent them out in pairs. He gave them authority and power to deal with eat evil opposition..." We All who believe In Jesus, as, "God come In the Flesh," have been given authority to deal with evil...
David, like us, had the anointing on his life to deal with evil... He knew that this really was God's problem and had to be handled by Him in His way... If Saul was to be dealt with, it would be Him to kill Saul... God gave Saul over to David to kill 2 times and he refused to do it...
Let us not refuse Jesus' Way, Truth and Life to deal with evil and Satan.
David said in verse 22 of Chapter 35; "This You have seen o Lord, do not keep silent..."
God answered him by giving him his enemy to kill, to remove 2X's, but he didn't, and that caused many lives to die, and be destroyed... NOTE: Think on these things in your on walk and talk with Jesus...

Talking With Jesus
JEREMIAH 23:1-2:
"Woe to the shepherds who destroy and scatter the sheep of My Pasture!"
"Therefore this Is What I Say against the shepherds who feed My people: 'you have scattered My Flock, driven them away, and not attended to them. Behold, I will attend to you for the evil of your doings,' Says The Lord."
The Lord said to me that He Promised to gather the remnant of His Flock out of all countries where He has driven them, and bring them back to their folds; and He Said they would be fruitful and increase.
He said thatPromise in Jeremiah 23:3....
